If you can call a vanilla Frosty a Frosty, I guess you can call a green tea Kit Kat a Kit Kat. But you shouldn’t.
Not because it doesn’t taste good, but because what we’re really saying when we condone rogue flavors of traditional desserts is that nothing is sacred. Nothing lasts forever, and no one will ever be satisfied with the status quo, and if you can change something that is perfect to begin with, why not? You have to innovate if you want to stay relevant, and those who can’t handle the changes are either too stubborn to go with the flow or too stuck in the past to enjoy the future. Traditional is boring and the worst thing is to be boring. Keep embracing new varieties or else life will leave you behind.
So…essentially what we’re really saying is the truth. But that doesn’t mean I have to like it.
