#934: Drink red date tea

In my as yet unending quest to be able to sleep, I read about rooibos tea that apparently is helpful in falling to sleep.

The tea place around the corner doesn’t sell it, but they do sell red date tea, and in looking it up, I found it was also supposed to encourage restfulness. Half of the things I read highlighted the selling point of how it has no caffeine, which to me doesn’t mean it so much puts you to sleep as it merely¬†won’t specifically keep you up.

Whatever. Read the rest of this entry »

#933: Get The New Yorker

But I probably could have seen Arrival anywhere and still enjoyed it. Read the rest of this entry »

#929: Syndicated

This movie theater is pretty much just like Nitehawk in that it shows movies and serves food. However, the tickets are much cheaper, so I think I like it more.

#928: Complain nicely

I have sincere sympathy for people in the customer service field because I know how much it sucks. Most of the jobs I’ve had were not officially in customer service, but I’ve had to do enough speaking with angry customers to know that doing that all day would be miserable for me.

So I try not to be intentionally mean whenever I need to complain about a service. Read the rest of this entry »
